Our work continues locally to scale sustainable aviation fuel (#SAF) globally. We’re partnering with Wagner Sustainable Fuels to grow the Australian SAF industry. This will help meet Australia’s airline demand for jet fuel, which is expected to increase by 75% over the next 25 years. The partnership also includes support for Australia’s first steady supply of blended SAF produced in Wagner’s Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport precinct in 2024. More: https://lnkd.in/gpZqtiPA

📷 Come along on a journey with us as #Starliner makes its way out of its factory at NASA's Kennedy Space Center and heads toward its launch complex. After our factory doors opened, the spacecraft carefully made its way around the Commercial Crew and Cargo Processing Facility, stopped for astronaut photos, then passed the historic Vehicle Assembly Building, trekked by the Merritt Island National Wildlife beach and arrived at United Launch Alliance (ULA)'s Vertical Integration Facility. Here, teams integrated Starliner to the #AtlasV rocket that will launch the spacecraft and its first crew to orbit on their way to dock with the International Space Station. Follow along for more milestones before #CFT launch! 📸: NASA (Kennedy Space Center), ULA

Sustainable aviation fuel is essential to decarbonize aviation, and we are increasing our use of the fuel to encourage growth in the #SAF industry. Today, we are committing to buy 9.4 million gallons (35.6 million liters) of blended SAF for 2024 U.S. commercial operations - our largest annual purchase to date. EPIC Fuels, World Kinect and Avfuel Corporation will supply the SAF produced by Neste and World Energy, LLC. More: https://lnkd.in/gkYdezVH

👀 Sight-saving gene therapy research is happening right now ~250 miles above 🌎 on the International Space Station National Laboratory! Oculogenex, a #TeamBoeing-sponsored Technology in Space Prize winner, is using the unique microgravity platform to test a retina injection therapy that would treat early to intermediate dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The research will also teach us more about preventing vision loss on long-duration exploration missions. Learn more: https://bit.ly/3VQNjeB
