Overview

As a former employee, you may have a need to update your address on file. In addition to updating your address with The Boeing Company within Worklife, remember to update your address with the Benefit Suppliers referenced below to ensure that you receive relevant benefit-related communications in a timely manner.

Former Boeing or subsidiary* employees who left the company since Jan. 1, 2011:

If you are a former Boeing or subsidiary* employee, and have left the company on or after Jan. 1, 2011, you can update your address with The Boeing Company within Worklife.

Terminated employees who are unable to access Worklife must contact EHD at (888) 469-0911 or (425) 234-0911.

IMPORTANT: As a former employee, you will also need to update your address directly with the Benefit Suppliers. Follow the instructions below for 401(k), Pension, and Health & Insurance Benefits, as applicable.

If you are a former Boeing or subsidiary* employee who has left the company before Jan. 1, 2011, or you are a Beneficiary or QDRO, you must update your address directly with the Benefit Suppliers. Follow the instructions below for 401(k), Pension, and Health & Insurance Benefits, as applicable.

401(k) and Pension

After leaving Boeing, keep your personal contact information updated:

  • Go to NetBenefits.com/Boeing
  • Select the Profile tab to the left of the Search bar
  • Scroll down to the “Personal & Contact Information” section and click on that box
  • Review and update your contact data

Health & Insurance

After leaving Boeing, keep your personal contact information updated:

  • Go to the Your Benefits Resources website and enter your username and password (different than Worklife), or click “New User” to create your account.
  • Select the person icon in the upper right corner and then choose “Personal Information”
  • Review your primary contact information – select the “Change” button to update your personal email, phone, and address information.

Post-2011 alumni may login to Worklife to access the Your Benefits Resources site by clicking the “My Total Rewards & Benefits” quick access link.

NOTE: A Power of Attorney (POA)/Guardian/Conservator must have an approved POA/Guardianship/ Conservatorship document on file and approved by Boeing prior to submitting a change of address on behalf of the principal.

If Boeing has a POA/Guardianship/Conservatorship on file and approved for the participant, and you are the approved agent:

  • Make an address change by contacting Worklife at 1-866-473-2016 and say “Power of Attorney” when prompted.
  • Active Employees may also update their address on Worklife at https://boeing.service-now.com/worklife.

If Boeing DOES NOT have a POA/Guardianship/Conservatorship on file and approved for the participant: You can go to the Power of Attorney website and follow the guidelines for submitting a POA/Guardianship/Conservatorship. Or call Worklife at 1-866-473-2016 and say “Power of Attorney” when prompted. Once approved, you may then proceed with the address change by following the above instructions.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You can only record one home address with the company. That address is used for payroll/payment purposes, company mailings and to determine tax location and benefits (if applicable). If you carry health insurance through Boeing, changing your home address to another state could alter the benefits.

Power of Attorney

There may come a time when a Boeing employee, former employee, or beneficiary is no longer able to manage their affairs or wants to allow another individual access to their Boeing records. Should this be the case, Boeing would require proper documentation authorizing this request.

Boeing will accept valid Power of Attorney, Guardianship or Conservatorship documents. Valid documentation must include authority given including authority to update personal information. Once documentation is received, it will be reviewed for approval before any access will be granted.

Boeing will only accept the following types of documentation:

  • Durable Power of Attorney
  • General Power of Attorney
  • Financial Power of Attorney
  • Conservatorship
  • Guardianship

Boeing will not accept:

  • Power of Attorney for Healthcare
  • Trust Documents
  • Authorization to Release Information

Things to Know:

Some things you can do to ensure your request is approved in a timely manner:

  • Review the document and verify the effective date. The document may stipulate the participant must be incapacitated. If so, the document will provide the requirements for proof of incapacitation. Usually one or more letters are needed from a physician. If physician statement(s) are required, Boeing will require a copy.
  • If the Primary Attorney In Fact is deceased, please provide a copy of the death certificate.
  • If the Alternate Attorney In Fact is replacing the Primary, additional documentation is required. Please review the document you are submitting to see the specific requirements.

To Submit Documents:
Please include the following:

  • POA Cover Sheet – you can either print the Cover Sheet or you can create a cover sheet with the following information:
    • Participant/Employee/Retiree Name
    • Participant/Employee/Retiree BEMSID
    • Participant/Employee/Retiree Month and Year of Birth (only needed if BEMSID is unknown)
    • Names and addresses of Agent(s)/Guardian(s) named in the document
  • Complete Documentation – include all pages and any supporting documentation
